CMI Workshop: Employee Wellness

November 10 & November 17 2026 (1:00pm - 4:00pm EST) - both days are mandatory for full credits

Club Management Institute (CMI) workshops are required as part of the international certification program to become a Certified Club Manager (CCM). The successful completion of a quiz at the end of a CMI course is required.

Presentation Description

This two-part leadership program provides practical, research-informed strategies to help club leaders strengthen engagement, prevent burnout, support employees through change, and build adaptability across their teams.

During Day One, participants will explore the workplace conditions that drive engagement, commitment, well-being, and retention. Using the 10 Essential Employee Needs Framework™, leaders will identify the factors that strengthen trust, motivation, resilience, and performance while recognizing the workplace conditions that often contribute to disengagement, burnout, and turnover.

The workplace conditions leaders create today also influence how successfully employees respond to change tomorrow.

Day Two focuses on helping leaders successfully guide people through change and uncertainty. Participants will learn why employees resist change, how to lead with empathy and clarity using the H.U.M.A.N.I.Z.E. Change Pathway™, strengthen communication during periods of disruption, and develop adaptability using the E.P.I.C. AQ™ Model. Together, these tools help leaders build trust, reduce resistance, and create teams that are better equipped to navigate change with confidence.

Participants will leave with a practical leadership toolkit for strengthening engagement, preventing burnout, leading through change, communicating with confidence, and building adaptable teams capable of delivering exceptional member experiences in an increasingly complex club environment.
