If you’re Marcel Bregstein, you reach for a pair of glowing Port tongs—and an ice-cold Scarlet Macaw feather. In this memorable Chronicles of Cork story, Marcel takes us back to the 2003 PMA Chairman’s Gala at The Toronto Hunt, where a centuries-old bottle, a daring idea, and a very nervous sommelier came together for one unforgettable moment. The Ontario Branch of the CMAC has more than 80 clubs, mostly private golf, yacht, athletic and city clubs located in central and southern Ontario between Brantford on the West and Belleville on the East. At over 250 members, it is the largest Branch in CMAC and offers tremendous value for members through professional development, excellent opportunities for networking, promotion of club management as a career, and support through scholarships and donations.
