Nicholas “Nick” D’Ovidio is a dedicated club management professional whose commitment to member engagement, professional growth, and service excellence has shaped his career and strengthened the clubs and communities he serves.

Club Leadership & Professional Background

Nick currently serves as Assistant General Manager at The Club at North Halton, where he plays a key role in supporting daily club operations, member services, and team leadership. In this role, he helps enhance the member experience across golf, curling, dining, and social programming — ensuring that every visit to the club feels welcoming, engaging, and memorable.

Before advancing into management, Nick gained hands-on experience in various operational areas including food and beverage, hospitality, and member interaction. His diverse background gives him a unique perspective on how all parts of a club contribute to a positive member experience and strong organizational culture.

Nick has also pursued professional development through multiple CMAC Club Management Institute (BMI) programs, including credentials in leadership, general management, and food and beverage management. These certifications reflect his commitment to continuous learning and the development of club leadership skills.

CMAC Ontario Branch Involvement

As an active volunteer with the CMAC Ontario Branch, Nick serves as the Member Engagement Vice Chair, where he helps shape how the branch connects with members and enhances the value of engagement opportunities throughout the year.
